For the safety of your furniture’s joints and the health of our movers, we generally recommend emptying drawers of heavy items (books, linens, or tools).
However, if the dresser is sturdy and contains only light clothing, you can often leave those items inside.

What happens if the move takes longer than the initial estimate?
Because we charge hourly, we want you to understand exactly how we handle time.
Our initial estimates are based on the inventory and conditions you provide. However, factors like elevator delays, extreme weather, or “last-minute packing” can extend the time. If we see the move is taking longer than expected, our lead mover will communicate with you immediately. You only pay for the actual time worked, ensuring you never pay for a “buffer” you didn’t use.
Do you provide the boxes and packing tape, or do I?
We can provide everything! If you book our Packing & Unpacking Service, we arrive with premium, double-walled specialized boxes, high-density bubble wrap, and industrial tape.
If you prefer to pack yourself, we can deliver these professional-grade materials to your door in Peterborough ahead of time for a separate material fee. Using our boxes ensures they stack perfectly in the truck, which increases efficiency and protects your goods better than used grocery store boxes.
